When you’re in sales, you pretty much cater to your clients’ (or potential clients’) needs, even if it means eating lunch in a restaurant you’d never choose for yourself.

Executive Scheduling Associates' scheduler Kristen relayed this story about her carnivorous client who met for lunch with a financial advisor who insisted on dining at a vegan restaurant.

“My client was a little disappointed in the advisor’s choice of restaurants but went with it to accommodate the client’s needs. He did his best in trying to order something that could be satisfying without meat.”

“When their order arrived, the same advisor who had insisted on Vegan food, reached into his bag and pulled out a container of meat to add to his meal.”
