Did you know that Executive Scheduling Associates works with financial advisors, as well as wholesalers?
Independent advisors who work from home can tell you that doing so comes with its own, unique set of challenges. This advisor’s home office is apparently a little hard to find and employs a receptionist that has a rather unconventional way of greeting guests. Here is what he said to his scheduler, Melinda, who booked a meeting for him with a wholesaler named Tom:
“Thanks so much for the reminder of our introductory meeting on Monday. Is Tom familiar with Bonita Beach? If not (I am a little bit hidden), send me his email address and I’ll give him a couple of clues. Or, better yet, his cell phone number and I will establish a flight pattern for him for a safe landing!
It is a home office and that, at times, causes wholesalers a little problem. My receptionist is a 125-lb black lab and Tom has to be careful or she will kiss him to death. Don’t worry…she has had her shots! Just kidding, I will guide him in for a safe landing. Thanks for your help.”
Back in July, another advisor's cat flat-out refused to help out. Read that entry here.
